What is Faith?

2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of Faith

Romans 10:5-8 …The Word of Faith, which we preach.

John 6:63 The Words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.
Note: Faith consist (made up) of God’s Word.

Hebrews 11:1 Now Faith Is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

How does Faith Work? By Love, First by hearing, Secondly by believing, Thirdly by speaking,

Romans 10:14-18..So then faith by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God

Romans 10:5-10 The righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise…For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

Galatians 5:5,6 …faith which worketh by Love

Mark 11:22-26 …believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass he shall have whatsoever he saith

Faith is pleasing to Our Heavenly Father

Hebrews 11:6 Faith pleases God

How do you activate your faith?

Principle: 2 Corinthians 4:13 I believed, and therefore have I spoken
Example: Romans 4:16-25 God who quickens the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were……was strong in faith giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform.
2 Corinthians 1:18-20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yea, and In Him Amen.

Principle: Matthew 21:18-22 If ye have faith, … ye shall say unto this mountain.
Example: Matthew 9:19-22 For she said within herself, If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole. …Jesus said…thy faith hath made thee whole.

Principle: Mark 4:13-20 The sower soweth the Word.
Example: Matthew 8:5-12 Centurion shows great faith through understanding authority

Principle: Matthew 4:23,24 Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching…and preaching…and healing all manner of sickness all manner of disease… It is God’s Will to heal
Example: Matthew 8:1-3 Lord, if thou wilt, (?) … I will; be thou clean (!)

Note: Hope is your Godly expectation for something good in the future. Faith sees it as a reality right now!
